EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

SAACCON is seeking expressions of interest from motivated and experienced professionals to join our team in a project-focused role supporting the implementation of Closing the Gap priorities and initiatives.

We are looking for people who can hit the ground running and bring demonstrated experience in project-based roles within complex stakeholder environments.

Essential skills and experience include:

  • • Proven experience in project management and project deliver.
  • • Strong understanding and application of Agile project methodologies
  • • Knowledge of, and commitment to, the National Agreement on Closing the Gap (CTG)
  • • Lived experience and/or strong connection to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
  • • Excellent teamwork and relationship-building skills
  • • Demonstrated supervisory and leadership experience
  • • Experience working with government agencies and familiarity with government processes, reporting, and decision-making frameworks
  • • Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders
  • • Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills

Business Services Officer

SA Aboriginal Housing Peak Body Adelaide | SCHADS Level 4

Join South Australia's new Aboriginal Housing Peak Body and help establish an Aboriginal-led organisation dedicated to strengthening housing outcomes for Aboriginal communities. Reporting to the Interim CEO, the Business Services Officer will provide business, financial, administrative and project support while helping build the systems, processes and governance foundations of the organisation.
We're looking for someone with:
- Business, financial and administrative support experience
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Governance, project or executive support experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- An understanding of Aboriginal communities and self-determination
